Rustbowl Rally
In the middle of a ruined desert frontier lies the Rustbowl Rally Outpost—a scrappy hub where racers battle for glory in the dust. Players tear through canyon tracks, dodge debris, and push their skills to the limit, using boost and drift mechanics to earn Race Points and fight their way to the finish line. Only the bold make it through.
Rustbowl Rally is a post-apocalyptic racing experience built from the Roblox racing template and expanded into a progression-driven game centered around player ownership. At its core is a deep customization system that allows players to upgrade and personalize their buggy, creating a vehicle that feels uniquely theirs. The game features five hand finished race tracks that scale from beginner-friendly routes to more demanding, technical challenges, all set within a cohesive wasteland environment.
For this project, I was responsible for the full development of the game, including gameplay systems, world building, and asset creation. The buggy and all of its upgrade components were modeled by me in Blender, using a consistent low-poly style to match the overall visual direction. To streamline production, I also developed a custom plugin for Roblox that accelerated the creation of race tracks—allowing me to quickly generate roads, surrounding terrain, and environmental details such as trees and stones.
